On my music videos: I know I sing kind of hard (except for on maybe one or two videos) (on my keyboard/piano videos I know I play kind of hard except on one or two videos) sing a long with me or cover/ repeat what I did. It's fun!!!!
*On my hip hop videos, I know I rap kind of hard, repeat after me, for optimal effect
This is a cover of the Intro to "Blue in Green" by Bill Evans. (The video format (for video messaging) wouldn't allow me to record the other sections of this rehearsal section recorded in Sumter, SC in 2016.) I am still working on this piece of music on the side.
See the video link below, and listen to the entire piece of music! That is the original by Bill Evans himself.
I got this piece of music from Professor Edmund Paolantonio (a jazz instructor) while studying music at a local university.
I really think I did better off camera / I was singing better (walking down the pavement) before I turned the camera on (I think I get nervous and feel extra pressure to impress the camera (so now it's not just ears or people, it's ears/people and film) (the sound seems to be less full and the amount and variation of runs is lessened)) aka when will I be able to achieve the greatness on film!!?
The original - my favorite section begins after the intro.
I think I want to release the song, that thanks to the Holy Ghost I wrote in Middle school (and that I and a couple of girls (from my middle school) performed (along with a medley of other Christian songs) at an annual function at the church that year) Lord I must have been 12 and had experienced a bout of sadness, titled "He's my Friend"
Lyrics:
Verse:
Even though things look great they're not so we'll.
And even though freinds are near, I feel no one is there
Chorus:
Then Jesus reminded me, that he's my friend
He told me that he's my friend.
He shows me that he's my friend
Verse 2: When I wake up in the morning I feel so full of joy.
But when I go to sleep at night, I feel I have no more.
Then Jesus reminded me that he's my friend.
He told me that he's my friend
He shows me that he's my friend.
I sang the verses and Antionette, Kendra and I sang three part harmony for the chorus
The cover happens towards the end....
